In a fairly important development--from the viewpoints of the UK immigration aspirants from India--Britain has, reportedly, declared a chain of useful measures for allegedly perking up its visa services, and this comprises increasing the same day, super-priority services to first-time guests from India. Significantly, India is a leading visa market of the world.

James Brokenshire, the in-office UK Immigration Minister, who was recently on a five-day visit to the nation, pronounced the new package for making the visa services for Indian people better at some point in a visit to a visa application centre in India.

Changes to the visa services comprise among others expanding the same day, super-priority visa services to the first-time travelers and for Work Visas.

Notably, the three to five day priority visa service will also be increased to visit, study and work paths, in the process, enabling more candidates in India to search for a faster visa decision.

Brokenshire stated India is a top visa market for the UK and London keeps on making positive changes to the service in India with a view to make the same as easy and straightforward as possible for Indian customers to submit an application for their visas.

He indicated that a growing number of people from India are coming to a decision to arrive in Britain on holiday and for business. During the year gone by, Britain witnessed a 17% rise in the figure of the Visit Visas offered.

Indian holidaymakers are incredibly welcome in the UK, and thanks to Britain’s strong cultural & historic links, they feel welcome in the UK, the visiting minister added.

He further said that one hopes that in 2016, the government of the UK will keep on experiencing a rise in the figure of guests from India even while these improvements turn out to be rather helpful to those submitting a petition for their visas.

From the end of February, Indian candidates for Visit Visa will also be in a position to gain from a new online application form, which, according to the British High Commission, is pretty quicker and more straightforward.

Apart from comparatively being less time consuming, the latest online form will make it fairly easier for clients’ going on holiday or for business to Europe & Britain, to submit an application for both Schengen & UK Visas.

After the form has been duly filled out, clients will be in a position to download an auto-completed application form for Schengen to print and present an application with. To begin with, the form will be introduced in English. However, the same will be duly translated into Gujarati, Hindi, & Tamil.

Brokenshire also reportedly made known the opening of a fresh visa application centre (VAC) in Uttar Pradesh’s capital, Lucknow.
