In the recently published
PEI Provincial Nominee Program list of draw there were total 3 draws in the month of Jun 2020. These 3 draws invited a total of 90 Skilled Professionals under Labour Impact category and 20 Business Professionals under Business Impact Category. Interestingly, this is the first time that PEI has granted invitations to business professionals since the Pandemic situation. This move intends the demand of business investments and business experience in the province to recover from the economic slowdown caused by the Covid-19. Furthermore, by inviting more skilled professionals the province intends to rebuild and restore the job market and business environment in the province.
Below is the detailed list of Invitation to Apply granted for eligible aspirants to PEI:
• On Jun 10th draw, total 9 Skilled Workers were invited
• Jun 18th PEI draw invited 10 eligible applicants
• The recent Jun 23rd draw invited 71 Skilled professionals and 20 business applicants
Total Invitations - 110
PEI Express Entry Category is an enhanced program of Canada Federal Express Entry Stream which has three branches the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class. All the candidates are evaluated on the basis of age, work experience, education, and language proficiency in English and French. After evaluation they will be allocated certain Comprehensive Ranking System score. Candidates who receive the provincial nomination are given additional 600 points against their existing CRS score which will safeguard the
Canada Immigration.
