A key note address on 27th March, 2023 at 11:00 am shall be announced Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship of Canada at the Empire Club of Canada with connection to the launch of a brand new federal immigration pathway.
This new route shall fall under the economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) which is as planned to commence from this summer onwards. This route as predicted shall be aimed to aid the employers to recruit skilled refugees as well as other displaced persons to fill the shortages in labour.
According to IRCC was quoted as saying “The EMPP pairs skilled refugees and other qualified displaced individuals with Canadian employers who need to overcome labour shortages in key occupations. This allows Canada to welcome vulnerable people, while giving Canadian employers access to an untapped talent pool from which they can attract and retain employees with the skills they need to help grow our economy.”
The location shall be Arcadian Court, 401 Bay Street, Simpson Tower, and 8th Floor which is in Toronto, Ontario. The media who is supposed to attend this event in person should not arrive later than the 11:15 am EST.
