Recently, Canada declared its new Express Entry draw under the Provincial Nominee Class with a total of 392 invitations with minimum score locked at 696. All these applicants were selected on the basis of age, work experience, education, and language proficiency to determine whether they meet the Canadian labour market requirements. Selected candidates will be given additional Comprehensive Ranking System score of 600 points which will assure their Canada PR Visa.
 
Ever since the Canadian govt. imposed travel restrictions due to the pandemic outbreak, Canada has been holding regular Express Entry draws by inviting provincial nominees and Canadian Experience Class candidates. As of now, Canada has invited a total of 46,392 candidates for permanent residency under the Express Entry in this year. Canada Immigration targets are currently back on track which will exceed last year’s Immigration levels and despite travel restrictions, more ITAs were issued this year than previous year’s at the same time in 2019.

Tie-break rule was applied for this draw as well for the date April 23rd, 2020 at 10:39:30 UTC.
If more than one candidates has the lowest CRS score then the selection and cut-off will be based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles
Despite the covid-19, Canada has granted a total of 46,392 invitations to the eligible candidates and they have crossed of the halfway mark of overall target of 85,800 ITAs in just 6 months.
It is expected that, Canada point system and immigration will exceed the desired immigration level set for the year 2020.
