After a hold up of over 18 months, the FSW draws for Canadian popular immigration pathway the Express entry system has been resumed again. Since last December 2020 now Canada has invited skilled immigrants.
Canadian immigration Minister Sean Fraser was quoted as saying that Today, I am pleased to announce that Express Entry draws have officially resumed and applications will be processed at our 6 month processing standard. I want to thank the candidates from around the world for their patience, as we worked to reduce the backlog before resuming Express Entry draws.

Also this hiatus has been in implementation for draws with relation to Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) with the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draws stalled since September 2021.
The Express entry system is one of the fastest way to immigrate to Canada wherein the applicants seek to live and work in Canada. These restrictions came in to place due to the coronavirus pandemic due to which all of the world came to a standstill.
With the resuming of the Federal Express Entry draws since 6th July, the Canadian Immigration minister Sean Fraser has gone ahead and eradicated the last restrictions which were in effect since the pandemic ensued.
From 6th July the eligible applicants shall be able to apply under the following permanent residency programs such as Federal Skilled Worker program, Federal Skilled Trades program, and Canadian Experience Class.
To be able to apply under this program the applicants are required to confirm whether or not they are eligible under any of these immigration programs. For this the applicant shall be required to register their profile on the website of IRCC.
Based on their age, education, language skills, and work experience the applicants receive a Comprehensive Ranking System score. Every two weeks the IRCC welcomes the highest scoring applicants for Canadian permanent residency.
