Saudi Arabia’s Premium Residency program permits you to live in Saudi Arabia on a long-term basis without a local sponsor or land.
- ₹22.3 lakh/year (renewable)
- ₹1.78 crore one-time (permanent)
You can start a business, sponsor family, or even buy property later – and you don’t have to invest in land upfront.
You can think of it like the GCC’s Green Card – with slightly more complicated dress codes.
3. Paraguay – The Cost-effective Backdoor
If affordability is what you want, Paraguay is it.
- Require a deposit of ₹4.15–5 lakh in a local bank.
- Citizenship in 3 years (plus basic residency) with approval in 3-6 months.
One of the rare gems in South America, where affordability meets convenience.
Arguably one of the easiest pathways into
residency for Indians without a real estate investment, though the global travel strength of the passport is not huge.
4. Hungary – Residency by Investment Fund (not Property)
Residency for 10 years, renewable with a minimum of:
- ₹2.25 crore into a real estate fund (not property)
- or pay ₹9 crore into a public trust
You can travel freely through the Schengen zone, apply for permanent residency after 3 years and for citizenship after 8 years.
Note: The program is a good option, but it’s very slow to get approved – they are still trickling in one by one.
5. Vietnam – The New Player in Asia
Vietnam now offers 3 to 10-year residency through business investment of:
- ₹1 crore for shorter periods of visa, and
- ₹33 crore for 10 years and potential permanent stay.
