Australia continues to mesmerize the world and motivate the visitors from all over the world to visit the destination in large numbers, or so it seems. As per a report from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), the nation is turning out to be even more accepted with the global society with the figure of guests to the destination heading north by 13.7% in June, vis-à-vis the preceding year.

According to the latest figures from the ABS, roughly 555,800 travelers from across the globe made a trip to Australia during June 2016--the sixth month successively when double digit increase has been registered. For the year coming to an end June 2016, total international arrivals reached 7.8 million, up 10%, in respect of the identical time-frame the preceding year. Leisure arrivals kept on propelling worldwide arrivals growth.

Sharing more information on the subject, the Tourism Australia Managing Director (MD), John O’Sullivan reportedly stated that the Australian tourism has kept on improving rather strongly in the month of June, with continuing double digit monthly increase in the visitor arrivals taking yearly increase to 10% for the first time since the Tourism 2020 goals were fixed way back in 2009.
