Latest available reports suggest that the wonderful Canadian City of Toronto is sitting right at the top in Canada -- in terms of performance. This is the second year, at a stretch, that this unique distinction has come Toronto's way.
The organization which brought the news to light assessed the performance of several economies even as Toronto went on to garner an impressive 23.0 points this year. This is the most inspiring performance recorded over a decade. Hence, notwithstanding certain negative news doing the rounds involving economic situation -- more so from Europe -- Canada, specifically Toronto, continues to be comparatively untouched.
Till date, the housing domain of the place has exhibited amazing flexibility, apart from its rate of unemployment, even as this may only imply, from the immigration point of view, that additional immigrants will zero in on Toronto as their chosen place of immigration. Not only is the economy of the wonderful destination in perfect health, its crime rate also continues to be impressively and historically down.
All this and more makes Toronto an astonishing place to raise one's family at. The excellent economic performance of the place, to a certain extent, is thanks to its highly gifted and hard-working populace of the immigrants. It has repeatedly been shown and sufficiently proved that diversity, brings about amazing accomplishments and growth - both culturally and economically -- along with it. But then no one seems to be complaining, certainly not the proud inhabitants of Toronto and all those who matter.
