In a welcome and positive development, which is likely to make the many future migrants to Australia from New Zealand rather happy, two new centers of Application for Australian Visa, reportedly, will be opened in New Zealand even while it would make it much easier for such migrants to duly apply for visas and citizenship to the targeted destination, i.e., Australia.
The Auckland center would become operational from November 28 even while all the lodgements involving Australian Visa and Citizenship, in the Kiwi Land, irrespective of the nation of their origin, will have to be lodged there. Sometime early during the next year, a second such office will become operational in the City of Christchurch.
Meanwhile, an involved person was quoted as saying that there were nearly 30,000 applications for Australian Visas filed from New Zealand every year, even while the number in question was heading north. Earlier, NZ individuals had to apply for their visas from the Australian Consulate-General in Auckland, and this often proved to be a rather long and time-taking process.
Although the citizens of the Kiwi Land do not actually require applying for an Australian Visa, before their travel -- until and unless they have been convicted and/or burdened with some sort of health issue -- those people who enjoy the Permanent Residency of New Zealand do not have to apply for the said purpose and furnish all the documents which may be required. It needs to be mentioned that the development that sees many Kiwis migrate to Down Under has become a crucial election topic in New Zealand.
