According to a recent report, the immigration department of New Zealand will be increasing its visa charges by 16.7% from 2 July 2012.
This increase will reflect the delivering cost of immigration services. However, the immigration fees of New Zealand will largely remain almost the same as of other competitor nations, as expressed by the Immigration Department of New Zealand.
The said report has also expressed that about 80% visitors to this Kiwi Land will not get affected by this increase due to the reason that most of the travel visas are free. But, people submitting applications for a visa, except for a visitor visa will have to pay the fee.
