Visa applications are strictly and only by invitations. For an invitation to apply, an applicant must:

File an Expression of Interest (EOI) and have nomination or sponsorship;

Have a vocation which finds mention on the applicable list of skilled occupations;

Possess an appropriate skills evaluation for that vocation;

Be not more than 50 at the time the invitation is made available;

Cater to basic requirements involving the English language; and
-
Pocket not less than 60 test points.

How Australia Skilled - Nominated or Sponsored (Provisional) (subclass 489) Visa Works
With a view to filing a legal application for the said permit, the aspirants, to begin with, must present an EOI, via SkillSelect, and afterwards get an invitation to duly apply. Aspirants may do the same in or outside the nation. In order to successfully fulfill the requirements of the given permit, the applicants must have nominations from a state or territory government, or sponsorships from a qualified relative staying in a nominated region of Down Under.
