Canada Immigration and Canadian Permanent Residence Visa
Starting July 1st 2012, Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) has temporarily stopped accepting any new applications under the Federal Skilled worker program (FSWP), the Federal Investor program and the Federal entrepreneur program. CIC will start accepting new applications again in early 2013 as per new revised selection criteria, expected to be announced late 2012 or early 2013. Please note that applicants with arranged employment opinion or a qualifying job offer or PhD criteria may continue to file their applications. In addition, applicants under provincial nominee programs for businessmen and investors will continue to be accepted. The forms for nomination under Saskatchewan Immigrant Nomination program must be submitted either by courier or in person to Government of Saskatchewan, Immigration Services Division
The forms are in 2 sets

  • Provincial
  • Federal

At the time of initial application for nomination all completed provincial forms must be submitted in original along with

  • All listed mandatory support documentary evidence
  • Copies of federal immigration forms duly filled and signed

Any application deemed as incomplete and with deficiency in required documents supportings will be returned without processing

For the convenience of fast processing the application forms must be arranged as specified

  1. Forms that must be duly filled by principal applicant and include all family members accompanying main applicant
    • SINP Entrepreneur Category Application Form (SINP - EF – 001)
    • Application Document Checklist
    • Country specific checklist
    • SINP Accumulation of Funds Form (SINP - EF – 002)
  2. Translator Affidavit - incase there are attachments in language other than English, you need to attach a translated copy of those attachments along with an authenticated and notarized undertaking from translator in form of affidavit
  3. Business Establishment Plan – BEP is not required in form of a formalized business proposal but instead as an instrument to evidence your understanding of state’s environment, opportunities and plan to utilize the available resources in most profitable way as well as gauging the extent of spade work and preparations carried out for establishment or acquisition of business entity. BEP is used as a tool to assess the resolve of an applicant (intent grid evaluation) to settle and work in province. Typically a BEP is designed to extract information from applicant indicating details of
    • Proposed Industry and location
    • Investment quantum
    • Employment generation estimates
    • Proposed management role in organization
    • Initial fund inputs with expenditure estimates
    • Residence arrangements in state
    • Itenary of visits in past and future to province
    • Companies and people met
    • Spadework completed for ownership orientation in state
    • List of people contacted to assist in BEP preparation

Federal Forms Include:

Copies of duly completed Federal forms must accompany provincial forms in application for nomination. After grant of positive decision on sponsorship of a candidate federal form in original along with nomination letter supplied to applicant must be submitted with Citizenship and Immigration Canada – CIC. Forms are in following itenary

  1. Forms that must be duly filled by main applicant and include all accompanying members of family
    • Application for Permanent Residence in Canada
    • Schedule 1: Background/Declaration
    • Schedule 4A: Economic Classes – Provincial Nominees – Business Nominees
  2. Additional Family Information (IMM-5406) – to declare details of all family members whether escorting main applicant to province or not.
  3. Use of Representative (IMM-5476) (if using service of a representative paid or free servicing representative) – must be endorsed and completed by each applicant whether main or dependent (children above 18 years)
  4. Authorization for providing information to an individual specified by principal applicant
  5. Statutory release of common – law union (IMM – 5409) must be duly filled by main applicant or common law partner and duly notarized.
